Happy new year! I havent posted much here have I? Its been a rough few months.
Id talk more about this drawing, and the notes I made myself on it, or just art in general, or maybe my past few months, or some thoughts I need to think through, But I dont feel like talking right now.

Hello! I am posting this simply to keep a record of plans and to post it in order for me to really do the things I said Im going to do.
You could say, in a way, that as an artist you go through a journey, and showing what you can do as an artist is part of that journey. In this case, I feel like I haven't even started this journey yet, but I will be starting it, soon, so soon. So, here are the things I’m planning to do as an artist on the interweb:
Videos. A lot of the art I want to do relates to videography, and though I don't want to put my face on social media, I have no real choice but to use Youtube. But its fine! Because to me, Youtube feels very much like a playground where I can post any video I want , so I can manage.
There will be two channels, the first is one where I will post my actual projects. The second one will be for a style of videos where it will be a mix between educational videos about art mediums mixed with vlogging elements. Art is a special interest of mine, and ill admit, for someone who is only a late teenager, I have done far more different art mediums ranging from digital, traditional, craftwork, textiles, for someone my age, hell, maybe even a lifetime. The main goal of these is to teach other people different art mediums and to talk about different multimedia in a way that is hopefully accessible for people. I was mainly inspired by someone named Damie , as hes a streamer who teaches mainly mathematics and physics related subjects. I loved that! So I thought, why can I do something like that with something I like in my own way? Hence, the second channel. I have already written scripts, and is now in the making. The first few videos are going to be about lino printing, vinyl toy making, and cosplay! But Im planning to do far more things in the future.
Shop. My number one goal with MechaMori is for it to be a place to post my projects, these are mostly multimedia with both traditional and digital work. However, the sad thing is that these can be costly, and they all require small budgets. I do have a job, but it is not secure in the slightest, and on most weeks it is not enough for it to be considered a living salary let alone one that can help sustain my art. So thats why Im eventually going to open up a store, to help fund these projects. The first initial products will be mainly prints, as it is something I have done before. My main initial ethos with this is that I want this to be as much of a self-made process as possible, you get to see the slightest hints of humanity and human error in them, and I love that, I even do that in my illustrations. Additional things will be done as well, but currently, they will be behind shut lips.
So, what are these projects you keep talking about? When I say projects, I mean original short stories that I want to make! It is a lengthy process, and the most costly thing about all of this, but definitely the thing Im more passionate about and is a big priority of mine! I have a few in the drawing board, but the ones that I am now working on for the next two years is a short, around 20 page zine with costuming and sculpting elements, a short video with costuming, puppetry, and a small setpiece, and a fictional story in the style of a one year vlog! So, its a lot. But I love working on these and hope to show it to all of you within these two years!
But for now, thats all! I know Ive only had quite a few watchers, and fewer followers, and my development is quite slow compared to the typical social media speed, but in the end, that doesnt matter, I just want to make things and show people who are willing the great things about art, and I hope to do that eventually! But most of all, I want to learn, I want people to be able to look at my art and not only see me in it, but be able to tell me whats good and bad about it. In a way, Im learning to not care when its bad, because I still loved the process, and being bad at things is the first step to be good at it.

For the past few weeks, months even, I was contemplating my name for this web, for this world, and now I have hopefully made my final decision.
That push was made by my sister really. For the past week, I have been talking about my artwork, my own art web, and what Im planning to do with it. And then she said, So whats your brand name? And then due to the name I currently have as I post this, I didnt say what it was, because it felt a bit silly to say.
So I decided to modify it slightly, to MechaMori, its more fun to say and also has that edge to it in my opinion. Mechanical death. I like it.
But dont worry! Im still the same bunny as always. Just a new name.
I started changing my social media blogs despite the fact that they're the least important at the moment. I have no access to my files and laptop at the moment so youll only start to see the visual change on this website at Friday-Sunday, if I feel like it. I hope you understand.
And now, some newer art of me done a few days ago! I think you can tell its difference. I like this style though, Ill keep at it I think, and keep improving on it.

Hello again! Id currently like to show this sketch. Which is actually part of a zine project I have going on. Its one of the many projects I have going on actually. So I dont know when Ill be able to finish it, or if Ill ever. But the plan is to finish it before Summer 2023.

I FINALLY have made my very first legitimate post on this website. Its not perfect. But were getting there, I just needed to make AT LEAST a post right now.
But anyways, I should somewhat introduce myself, hi, I'm MechaBun! I'm a mulimedia artist, I deal with a lot of things, traditional illustration, printmaking, costuming, even starting videography and such! Sadly I dont have much to show right now, except WIPs, but hopefully youll stick with me and you'll see actual things being fully made.
One rule is that I HAVE to be messy, if you ever look at my work and wonder, "Why is this so scruffy?" Well that's because that's who I am! And I hope to be even more strategetically scruffier in the future.
